I'm thinking I may need to get rid of the miriad of freeware antivirus, antiadware and antispyware protection I am currently running and invest in a good antivirus program. If I am going to spend money on protection for my pc, I would like to find something that takes care of everything: antivirus antispyware and antiadware. So what does everybody recommend? What do you think is the most effective and accessible program and why? Thanks for your assistance.
For reliability CA, which used to be ETrust. Firewall, antivirus, spam control, loads more. Takes a bit of getting used to but well worth the invested time. For ease of use though Norton Internet Security. As that, when you run it to control it's settings, come up as a web page looking app, so easy to configure.

You can Use AVG if running jaws. I'm not sure how it works with other screen readers though.
I'd personally advise nod32. yes it looks inaccessible in the beginning, but just hit f5 from it's ctrl pannel, and everything is easy. I used to use the one from etrust, and it missed 2 viruses picked up by a demo of nod32, and I ditched it with 10 months payed license.
any thoughts about the AVG spyware? how does it compair to the free adaware? Will it find as much? is anyone using it? Got the 30 day trial and it's easy to use but would love to hear experiences on it's effectiveness. I have revived machines with Adaware willl avg antispyware be as afective? Thanks.
avg is accessable and works with jaws. I tried it with a fourty minute eemo.
